OpenAS2                       - A Worldwide Collaborative Effort

This page is dedicated to the people behind OpenAS2, the OpenAS2 Community. Over 25 persons from different worldwide locations contribute to the OpenAS2 project. These folks are just man and women collaborating and helping each other to realize the most scalable and powerful AS2 system.  Most of us share the same passion, the research!

Marc-Andre Heroux, OpenAS2 Project Admin

Born in 1972 in Quebec, Canda; I am married with a wonderful person who share my life since 9 years.

First, I need to say thanks to Pierre Desmarais, my first computer & programming teacher.  I've studied on Unix/Solaris at "Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres and started my career as a network & security consultant for a financial firm before joining OnX Enterprise Solutions, IATA (International Air Transport Association) and TCPCOM Business Solutions Inc.  I am currently the VAN & Internet (telecom) Specialist at Deblecx Inc.

My favorites systems are SPARC10 and Unix/Linux.

My daily activities involve business impact analysis, disaster recovery planning and project management.  When I have a moment, I love coding!

I focus my activities on Information Security and Open Source software development for electronic commerce.  I am a Shaolin Wing Chun Kung Fu practitioner at the International Wing Chun Orthodoxy School of Nam Anh Grand Master.

Yiannis, OpenAS2 Developer/Analyst

I was born in Athens, Greece in July 1976.  Most of my very early years with computers, I spent hanging around friends who had one, because I couldn't afford my own! When I finally got an Amstrad CPC 6128, that was probably the last time my friends saw me ;).  A PC followed not much later on and with it a copy of Turbo Basic, which is probably what got me into coding, I was playing too many games before that! I like developing into any language I can get my head around :P although my favorite one is Java.

I enjoy archery and practice it whenever I can spare time! I am married and I have a 3 month old boy.
